The Original Chair and The High Tide Chair feature a telescoping frame and finger-triggers for reclining:
• Telescoping Frame – The Original Chair and the High Tide Chair feature a silicone button to press and release the backrest and back legs telescoping the chair frame to full size. To close the chair the silicone button is pressed to retract the backrest and back legs closing the chair to its compact size for ease of carry, transport, and storage.
• Finger-Trigger Reclining - The Original Chair and High Tide Chair feature finger trigger buttons to recline the backrest to multiple positions
The Shore Thing Chair:
The Shore Thing Chair features the same iconic patented design, premium materials, vibrant colors and patterns, and it’s interchangeable with all SUNFLOW’s innovative chair accessories. The Shore Thing Chair does not include the telescoping frame or finger-triggers for reclining.
What is the patented Telescoping Frame?
The Original Chair and The High Tide Chair feature a telescoping frame. Press a silicone button to release the backrest and back legs and expand the chair frame to full size. To close the chair, press the silicone button to retract the backrest and back legs, closing the chair to its compact size for ease of carry, transport, and storage.
The Shore Thing Chair does not include a telescoping frame.
How do I open, recline and close my Shore Thing Chair?
1. OPEN: Unlock chair by releasing yellow tab found on the side. Place chair on its side and unfold legs. Stand upright on chair legs to sit.
2. RECLINE: Pull up on both armrests by your finger tips to recline back 2 positions. Pull up on back rest to sit forward.
3. CLOSE: Place chair on side and fold legs in. Lock yellow tab before carrying.
How do I open, recline and close my Original or High Tide Chair?
1. Position the folded chair with the backrest's SUNFLOW logo facing you on the ground. Step on the bottom cross bar.
2. Press and hold the gray silicone button on the top crossbar while using some force to pull the crossbar straight up, as far as it will go. You'll feel two clicks, one when the backrest is fully extended and another when the back legs are fully extended. Don't be timid!
3. Holding the top bar in this position, use your other hand to grab the front legs from the side. Push the front legs out while pulling the backrest towards you. You'll hear another click when the chair snaps open. Lower the chair to the ground.
How do I attach the Sun Shade?
1. Secure clips facing down on top crossbar
2. Extend to provide desired coverage
3. Stores easily behind the backrest
4. Protects from 98% of the sun’s harmful rays
Sunshade included only in Chair bundle with Sun Shade and Drink Holder.
How do I attach the Drink Holder?
The Drink Holder easily and securely clips onto the front legs of your SUNFLOW chair. It accommodates a variety of beverages, from a small aluminum can to a large insulated water bottle. It also pivots 360 degrees for easy access.
Drink Holder included only in Chair bundle with Sun Shade and Drink Holder.

We are dedicated to delivering amazing products, but sometimes the unexpected happens, so if there’s a manufacturing issue with your SUNFLOW product, we provide a warranty.
SUNFLOW offers a Five-Year Limited Warranty for all orders placed on or after June 1, 2024. Orders placed prior to June 1, 2024, will continue to be covered by the warranty in place at the time of your purchase.
